Introducing the newest program at EDX CrossFit – Endurance classes!


This cardio-based class is designed to use (HIIT) High Intensity Interval Training to get your heart pumping, allowing you to burn calories far beyond the gym floor. This class is great for all fitness levels, including beginners. Whether you want to get conditioned to support your outdoor activities, looking to lose weight, or ease into CrossFit training … this class is for you!

Endurance classes at EDX emphasize simple, sustainable movement to train your aerobic and strength capacity so that you can sustain fitness for life!

Why do you work out? Do you exercise so you may live a longer, healthier life? Do you want to sustain the strength you feel today for when you are in your 70’s, 80’s and beyond? Then you must train to sustain!
The Endurance Program is packed with repeatable, sustainable resistance training and aerobic exercise. We took the barbell out to prioritize low-skill, balanced movement, and added in aerobic power intervals to teach us how to pace properly for longer efforts.


According to this research study, “Aerobic exercise training leads to cardiovascular changes that markedly increase aerobic power and lead to improved endurance performance.”
Your metabolism will return to it’s normal functionality, allowing the body’s weight to return to a normal, healthy weight. Your heart will get stronger, decreasing or eliminating heart disease. The aerobic training is easily transferable to any cyclical conditioning, meaning you can do your outdoor activities with more ease, and have more fun doing them.

You’ll be greeted by smiling faces. In your group class, your coach will lead you through a warm up. You’ll do some strength training with your own bodyweight or perhaps tools like kettlebells or dumbbells, then move on to getting your heart rate up and sustaining it for the remainder of class. When you’re done, your classmates will throw you a high-five. You’ll call it a day and plan to do it again next time.
